East Dean & Friston Residents' Association

Your voice as local residents

About Us

Why have a Residents’ Association?

As a new resident, we hope you will join the Residents’ Association (RA), if you have not already done so. It exists for the benefit of everybody who lives in the area. It works closely with other local organisations, particularly the Parish Council, to serve the interests of local people. We coordinate with other voluntary groups and with those residents who specifically volunteer their time to enhance the quality of life in our parish. Having a voice and link with all the village organisations ensures that not only does the Residents’ Association have an input into all that is going on, but that it can make sure that there is a dialogue between our members and these key organisations.

The RA provides for residents:

An improved environment

To foster the sense of community the Residents’ Association committee members organise regular activities for all to enjoy. From street parties to summer fetes, dances to social evenings, we aim to have something for everyone to enjoy and join in with.
